Project: College website design and development
Penwith College required a new prospectus website which needed to be inline with accessibility standards. The site had to mirror printed promotional material whilst providing an intuitive and informative service to potential and existing students. Ember designed and created a site using the latest CSS and XHTML programming methods adhering to W3C standards in Web page design.
As well as containing information on the college, it's facilities and courses available the website also offers an interactive Flash 'route planner'. This enables users to understand which level they are qualified and plot a path towards higher education and vocation.
In addition to this, the site was built in such a way that a content management system could be integrated allowing Penwith College to edit and update news items and course information.
